Manufacturing Schedule

Drag jobs from the bank onto a line. Jobs with a run date line up in date order at the top.

Recut Schedule

Jobs sent from Manufacturing land here automatically. You can also add recut-only jobs.

Delivery Schedule

Jobs sent to delivery need a ship date and shipping method before they appear on the calendar.

Production setup

For the line stations on the production floor. Operators enter their badge number to start, stop and complete jobs.

Employees

Badge numbers must be unique. Untick Active when someone leaves, rather than removing them, so their name stays on past records. Supervisor will be used for count approvals later.

Line station screens

Each line's computer signs in with its own Line Station account (add one above under User Management). You can also open a line's station screen here to test it.

NetSuite Connection

Sales Orders ticked "Send to Plies" in NetSuite show up in the Manufacturing view's NetSuite Inbox. The login details (Account ID, Client ID, Certificate ID, private key) are set as environment variables on the server — see the README.

Field mapping

Which NetSuite field feeds each Plies field. Use Show sample fields to see every field on a flagged Sales Order (custom ones highlighted) and copy the right IDs here. Leave a field blank if your account doesn't have it.

Backups

Copies of the schedule are saved automatically.

Import from NetSuite PDF

Upload a Summer Converting Sales Order PDF (the one NetSuite generates). Each tube line item becomes a manufacturing job in the bank — you'll get a chance to review and edit everything before it's imported.

Auto-Schedule Unscheduled Jobs

Proposed lines below for jobs due in the next 5 days (and anything past due), based on due date, inside diameter and ply count (Line 2: up to 13 plies, Line 3: up to 17). Nothing moves until you click Apply — you can change any proposed line first, or uncheck a job to leave it in the bank.

There's nothing in the Unscheduled Jobs bank to schedule.
